Actually this island is really made of three smaller ones but they are all connected by a sandbank, which offers an unbroken stretch of clean white sand. Over on the West side the island offers fabulous corals. Next head out to Koh Tao, which actually means turtle island where lunch will also be served. The island gets this name because it is shaped like one, or so people say! It is also one of the most scenic places for diving and snorkeling in the Gulf of Thailand especially along Aow Leuk or Leam Tien beaches one of which will be visited (subject to weather and water conditions).
